BlackBerry? why…

… why the hell am I developing for the BlackBerry Platform ?

The whole world is complaining about RIM and BlackBerry – so the question is:

WHY should You develop on BlackBerry platform ?

… isn’t BlackBerry dead or will be taken over by Microsoft, Google, Amazon, FaceBook etc ?

I was asked this many times and I’m blogging from time to time about this from my view as an independent developer and software architect.

I’m not getting money from RIM for this and there’s no big company behind me. All the time I’m spending on BlackBerry is paid by myself.
